Earth Awareness

I had the idea that I would create a series called Earth Awareness. I wanted the end result to be a cracked surface but somewhere along the line the piece became ridgid and did not crack. Perhaps I reached the bedrock of my efforts.

It was a wonderful exercise and I love to try new things and explore, however the amount of work involved to produce the end result was too intense and time consuming. In reviewing I wish I had stopped at several intersections of creation, however I kept going and finally stopped. Satiated.
