Kauai is a pristine paradise and one of the most captivating islands in the Hawaiian archipelago -from its jagged Na Pali coast to picture perfect Hanalei Bay to tumbling Wailua Falls. Kauai was the first Hawaiian island to rise from the Pacific Ocean millions of years ago, and travel to Kauai still evokes that prehistoric wilderness. Jurassic Park was filmed in Kauai! Today you will have the chance to Hike Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali Coast. With these hikes, they range from beginner to advanced.  We will accommodate with everyone to have the best experience in Kauai.  One of the most popular and scenic trails in Waimea Canyon, the Canyon Trail branches off of the Cliff Trail and is a 3.4 mile round trip that takes two to three hours to complete and enjoy.

About halfway down the trail, we will reach Waipo’o Falls, a gorgeous 800 foot cascading waterfall. This is a popular spot to stop for a picnic break. Continuing to the end of the Canyon Trail, we’ll reach the Kumuwela Lookout. This is another excellent picnic spot, and a lookout that features an incredible view of the island from the mountain to the ocean.  After a long day of hiking and exploring nature, we will head back to our hotel to rest.

After a delicious buffet breakfast at your hotel, we will take it easy and hike the Kalalau Trail.  Huffington Post says that “it’s the most incredible hike in America.” The Kalalau Trail on the Hawaiian island of Kauai weaves through one of the world’s most famous natural wonders, the Na Pali coast. With 180-degrees of the electric blue Pacific, majestic ridges and unspoiled beaches, every inch of this tropical trail boasts epic views.  We’ll definitely try to catch the sunset and then end our day with a sunset picnic
