" My desire as an artist is to create powerful images that invite the viewer to experience something new… even years after the first encounter. I’m unashamedly trying to create a moments pleasure and capture beauty that is a resting place or antidote to our frenetic times. "

I strive to  create something that lifts the viewers spirits and provides peace and tranquility. My style is constantly changing as I keep discovering new paints and techniques and I want to explore the limitless possibilities of color on canvas. I don’t ever want to become bored and always push myself to take greater creative risks.'

Forests, sky, water and motion are recurring themes of inspiration. My practice of art making is a deeply personal game of choices and a constant renegotiation between rules of inclusion and omission, acceptance and refusal, inviting the viewer into my world and allowing them to make it their own.
