Description My work is an investigation into the delicate edge where reality blurs into imagination, a place where tragedy and beauty are deeply interconnected. I often explore this boundary through the metaphor of twilight—that moment when night falls, and the sudden darkness feels at once confusing and threatening.
Through painting, I create a deep space that invites the viewer to sense and experience the unknown. My colors are drawn from my relationship with the outside world, yet they connect to a larger internal picture, triggering a series of reactions once applied to the canvas. I am drawn to colors that create deep space—hues I want to look into because they hint at hidden discoveries.
My process distinguishes between the two mediums:
Drawing serves as an immediate record of experience.
Painting creates a space to explore the duality of beauty and tragedy through form.
I am fascinated by how shadows suggest objects, forms that are only later constructed in the mind. It is the idea of the shape—derived from reflections, light, and overwhelming atmospheric moments—that attracts me, rather than a perfect representation. Ultimately, I seek to connect with that fleeting feeling of the "familiar unknown," a state where elements are felt but not fully understood.

The Palette & Technique
